It's bigger than Spaceship Earth...

Thought some maps might help to give a perspective of each park. When you click on the map it will take you an enlarged version.

We love this totally outdated and cheezy ride. It is a pun-filled adventure. The "captain" of your boat can make or break your experience. We usually hit a great "captain" but one year the Chinese castmembers were in WDW for training and they were trying to deliver the pun-filled spiel and I will have to say that it was lost in translation. It provided a totally new way for us to make fun of this outdated ride. You can read more about it here.

Although this is not really a ride but an attraction, it is not to be missed. It is a wonderful show that is like being in a Broadway theatre. It always moves me, even though I've seem it countless times. You can read more about it here.

a little laugh...

This is one of the signs you see all throughout the attractions at WDW. I'm sure it is designed to mean no standing or jumping but through the years it has gotten the stigma of "No Bad Dancing" attached to it. So if you are gonna dance make sure you "get your grove on" because there is "No Bad Dancing" at WDW.

How do we get there?

Sometimes the best rides of the day are the ones that just give you a few minutes of respite, just to breathe and escape for a moment. Disney offers great transportation options to get to and from wherever you want to go. The pictures above are of the ferry ride to Ft. Wilderness and the monorail, two of my favorites. Go here to see more options.

What is significant about the windows atop the shops on Main Street, USA?
  1. They are actually made of plastic, not glass.
  2. Most shield hidden cameras that monitor activity on Main Street
  3. They contain the names of Walt Disney Imagineers and others who contributed to WDW in some way.
  4. There are corporate offices behind them.

Be sure and go back and catch up on last week's Tuesday and Wednesday posts to get your pin and your name in the weekly drawing.
